Welcome to TOUCH of Intuition Massage!
I am RoseAnne Lawrence and I have been a massage therapist for 10 years. I am located in the beautiful Raleigh Hills neighborhood across the street from New Seasons market off Scholls Ferry Rd.
Over the years I've studied and been inspired by many types of massage modalities. Swedish, Deep Tissue, Hydrotherapy, Shiatsu, Ashiatsu ( barefoot) and Esalen massage. I let these various techniques inform the massage I give depending on the needs and desires of the client. I trust that our bodies naturally heal when we relax, release control and immerse ourselves in the present. I aspire to be an intuitive, creative and therapeutic massage therapist who is always present for my clients.
I grew up in Lake Oswego and now live in the foothills of Portland. I am married and have three amazing adult children who I cherish spending time with. I enjoy hiking in the Gorge, Camping in my Roof Nest, and traveling with my husband on his many adventures.
Massages
DEEP TISSUE/ THERAPEUTIC
Deep Tissue Massage reaches deeper layers of muscles. It is used to break down knots and relieve pressure points throughout the body. This massage is beneficial for athletes and those who sit for long periods of time. Stretches or exercises may be recommended if needed to help restore the body's balance.
SWEDISH/ RELAXATION
Swedish massage is the most well-known and widely practiced type of therapeutic massage. Intended to relax, restore and calm the body and mind. A variety of massage techniques are used to bring balance back to the individual and reduce stress effects of daily life.
BAREFOOT - ASHIATSU
Ashiatsu barefoot massage is a technique where the therapist uses their feet to apply deep, broad pressure on the client's body, often with the aid of overhead bars for balance and control. It's known for delivering a deep, even pressure, perfect for those who enjoy a strong massage.
